Benefits to Participants

Benefits to RAINS Study participants are three-fold.

First - Protocols similar to the RAINS Study protocols, have been reported, through CAPI's Retrospective Survey, to have a significant degree of efficacy in the control of asthma.

You can also access Retrospective Survey participants comments on their experiences.

As a result, participants may also benefit from the protocols. It is one of the prime goals of the RAINS Study to identify the most effective protocol(s).

Each protocol has at least one “variable” nutrient the effects of which have been shown through studies to be dose-dependant.

It appears that dose-dependency may be an essential key to controlling asthma symptoms via nutritional supplementation.

There are slight variations in protocols between countries, due to local government regulations regarding nutritional supplements.

All supplemental protocols used in the RAINS Study have met local government guidelines and/or regulations for use, labeling and distribution.

Second - Should the hypothesis of the RAINS Study show significant benefits, the results will be used to provide the basis for double-blind, placebo-controlled studies. The importance of discovering a practical, non-drug, complementary approach to asthma cannot be understated.

The contribution of participants to the RAINS Study will therefore be of paramount importance to establishing practical knowledge of the influence of nutrition on asthma. The current medical literature supports the basis of the RAINS Study, and it is our hope that the results will help to substantiate the existing data.

Third - There is evidence to support the quantities and synergistic combinations of the protocol supplements in the prevention of dozens of other degenerative diseases including osteoporosis, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and stroke.

Participants may therefore gain the benefit of improved health in other areas of their lives. 95.7% of the CAPI Retrospective Survey respondents reported perceived improvements in other areas of their health.

Many of the Participants in the Retrospective Survey included "Comments" about their experience with the Protocol Nutrients.

You can access referenced articles on the influence of protocol nutrients on asthma and other degenerative diseases, under the heading of "The Science Behind the Protocol Nutrients" on our table of contents page.
